This AI Disclaimer applies to all AI-assisted features of Placiq, including resume analysis, resume building, skill-gap analysis, placement-readiness estimates, DSA explanations, AI tutor responses, project-builder assistance, GitHub analysis, JD matching, candidate intelligence, career roadmaps, recruiter insights, and generated reports.

1. AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate

AI responses may be:

• inaccurate;
• incomplete;
• outdated;
• misleading;
• biased;
• hallucinated;
• internally inconsistent;
• unsuitable for your situation;
• based on limited or incorrect input;
• affected by third-party model behavior.

You must independently verify all AI-generated content before relying on it.

2. Not professional advice

AI outputs from Placiq are for educational, informational, and career-guidance support only.

They are not:

• legal advice;
• financial advice;
• medical advice;
• immigration advice;
• academic certification;
• official placement advice;
• guaranteed recruiter feedback;
• guaranteed ATS feedback;
• guaranteed employment advice.

3. No placement or employment guarantee

Placiq does not guarantee:

• jobs;
• internships;
• interviews;
• referrals;
• admissions;
• offer letters;
• PPOs;
• placement outcomes;
• salary outcomes;
• recruiter shortlisting;
• ATS ranking;
• company selection.

Placement-readiness scores, probability scores, resume scores, skill-gap scores, JD-fit scores, and recruiter-readiness estimates are indicative only.

4. AI code and learning guidance

AI-generated code, debugging help, explanations, or project-builder guidance may contain errors, security issues, inefficient logic, outdated practices, or incomplete assumptions.

You are responsible for testing, reviewing, understanding, and safely using any code or learning guidance.

Do not deploy AI-generated code to production without independent review.

5. Resume and career outputs

AI-generated resume suggestions, bullet rewrites, project summaries, skill recommendations, or JD-fit suggestions should be reviewed by you.

You are responsible for ensuring that your resume, profile, portfolio, and application materials are truthful, accurate, and not misleading.

Do not add fake metrics, fake experience, fake projects, fake certificates, fake internships, or unsupported claims.

6. Candidate and recruiter outputs

Recruiter/candidate intelligence outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Recruiters and institutions must not make hiring, rejection, selection, discrimination, or eligibility decisions solely based on Placiq AI outputs.

Human review is required.

7. Liability limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Placiq, its founder(s), operators, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and partners are not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, missed opportunity, rejection, failed interview, failed placement, incorrect application, academic consequence, employment consequence, financial consequence, reputational harm, data issue, or other result arising from AI outputs or your reliance on them.

Use AI outputs as assistance, not final truth.

8. User responsibility

Before relying on any AI output, you should:

• double-check facts;
• verify code;
• validate resume claims;
• compare with official sources;
• seek human review where important;
• avoid using outputs for high-stakes decisions without independent judgment.

9. Changes to AI behavior

AI models, prompts, scoring systems, and evaluation logic may change over time. Outputs may vary between runs.

Past scores or reports may not match future scoring versions.
